Answering these questions usually requires taking a leap of faith and trusting your judgment. However, we believe it's unfair to burden you with this risk. That's why we've developed a way for you to test us out before making a commitment. We call it the "Test Us Out Phase”.

What Is It?

It’s a get to know each other experience, where we can determine if we are a good fit. Low cost at only $2,000 + gst and comes with the assurance that you will get a lot of value without any commitment to enter into a full services agreement.

What You Get

During this initial stage, you get:

A meeting either in person or via Zoom, to understand your functional brief and vision for your project.

A thoroughly review of our planning resources and consultultation with our trusted planning consultant to assess the opportunities and constraints of your site.

A review of available online information (and any site information you may have) to determine the site's orientation, context, views, etc.

A site analysis that serves as a framework for designing the best possible passive environmental solution, taking into account ideal views and areas where outlook should be limited.

A initial 2D sketch layout of the proposed home that reflect an optimal outcome. These layouts are designed with a spatial understanding of how the building will function in 3D, considering functionality, indoor-outdoor connections, vistas, acoustic control, aesthetics, and more.

High-level cost advice regarding the probable construction expenses based on current projects.

A second meeting, either in person or via Zoom, where we present the proposal and gather your valuable input.

What Happens After?

Option 1:

If we determine that we aren't the best fit for your project or that it's not feasible, you are under no obligation to proceed. Feel free to take all the information we've provided and explore other designers who may be better aligned or wait until the project becomes a viable option for you.

Option 2:

If we mutually agree that we work well together and would like to continue our collaboration, we will send you a fee proposal for our comprehensive range of services. Rest assured, we will deduct the fee for the Test Us Out Phase from the overall cost, ensuring a fair and transparent arrangement.
