Eight high-quality Apartments in Hampton that contribute to the suburb’s rich history of architectural design

Situated in a prestigious coastal neighbourhood and a highly sensitive heritage area with an outstanding collection of quality heritage homes, this project strikes a delicate balance between context and originality. The project comprises eight high-end apartments in Hampton, designed with a contemporary take on the area's architectural style while paying homage to the precinct's history.

Borland Architecture meticulously selected complementary materials and building geometry to create a contemporary version of the area's architectural style.

To determine the best development outcome, we conducted an extensive feasibility exercise for the client. We delved into various factors, including the local demographics, market, site orientation, location within a newly determined Major Activity Centre, heritage and visual bulk, and financial returns.

Our feasibility exercise led us to conclude that high-quality apartments would best respond to the client's requirements. Our design prioritised the provision of north, east, or west light to each home, with a high proportion of homes enjoying spectacular views of Sandringham Pier and the bay.
